Is Your Day 1.26 Microseconds Shorter, Mine Is?

The Chilean Quake Likely Shifted Earth’s Axis and according to NASA shortened the Earth's 24 hour day by 1.26 microseconds (millionths of a second). No wonder my day's have seemed shorter over the last couple of weeks.

Imagine for an instant that these recent earthquakes we're all part of a scheme by some group to make the day shorter and change the axis of the earth.

Maybe some group will take responsibility. It sure is strange, these earthquakes in places that never had a history of seismic activity. I often wonder why such a horrible thing should happen to a place already devastated by poverty such as Haiti.
