Well now it begins. MySpace is selling off large amounts of data collect about it's users to private companies. One can only wonder when Facebook or twitter will follow suit. This raises several important questions about privacy. Is it alright for a private company to know what your daily activities include? Is it alright for them to have your name and address. In a similar note let's not forget the Facebook change that allowed advertisers to use your own photos to advertise on Facebook. Imagine the surprise to see your own self on an advertisement for Viagra.So this is going to get very interesting as we'll get to see how Facebook reacts to this.
