In The Park

I was in the park next to my office building during my lunch hour today and noticed birds making some ruckus in an evergreen next to me. I noticed there were two of them. They're wings were flapping and flipping all over the place. Upon closer inspection it turns out the male had mounted the female and they were involved, if you know what I mean. Without shame they went at it. Then I noticed the female had a large piece of hay in her mouth the whole time. Golly, talk about laying the brickwork before the foundation is built. I always thought the male built the nest. Go figure.
