The Two Year Plan

Well I got some relief at work. I was un-affected by the re-org we had. However others recieved a letter saying their job will not be needed in 1 or 2 years.



What type of employee dose this create? Why not wait the two year then give them a package. Now you have an employee that knows his position is going away and you get that type of attitude for 2 years! This is craziness. It sure motivates this employee to work! Its almost like they didn't want to spend to give this person a package now in the hopes that they would quit and leave on their own. It's a really shitty thing to do to someone.
